On Saturday, we inherited a toddler mattress from dear friends of ours who have graduated to REAL big boy/girl beds. (Thank you, Lees!) We decided to put the mattress on the ground and let Trey try it out. The first night, he rolled off, and was barely bothered. Last night, he slept through the night without falling off. And this afternoon, after lunch, he went to his room. After not hearing him for a couple minutes:
Mom: "Hey Trey, are you ok?"
Trey: "Yes"
Mom: "Are you sleeping?"
Trey: "Not yet."
I went in and found Trey in his bed, pacifier in mouth, and blanket on top. He decided to put himself down for a nap. :)
What's next? I'm now starting to think about pacifier weaning and potty training, neither of which he seems remotely ready for. :)
