Will get pics up from Seattle pretty soon, but in the meantime, I've got to start writing down some of the things Trey says before we forget the cuteness. :)
In the last week:
"I like your glasses, Mommy" (first thing in the morning when I went to get him up)
"Where are your contacts, Mom?" (on our way to the airport -- I always wear glasses on the plane)
"Here you go, Sean" (sticking a bottle in Sean's mouth), then, 2 seconds later "That's enough"
Trey is also getting really good at delaying gratification. When he wants something and I say not right now, he says, "later _____". For example, he can have 2 gummy vitamins a day (he usually eats one right away and holds the second one for a while to save it). After his quota, he'll sometimes ask me for another vitamin. "No, Trey, you already had your vitamins today." "Later, vitamin". Or he'll ask to watch a Veggietales DVD. "Not right now, Trey." "Later, watch it".
Meanwhile, Sean is scooching all over the place. He's getting up on his knees, but can get around much more quickly commando-style. I caught him getting into the DVDs yesterday -- but his big brother is getting good at saying, " No no, Sean". Of course, he's not the gentlest big brother, but we're working on it. :)
